Pack Hikes and Campfires

YEAR END CAMPFIRE

The yearly June campfire at Nicholdale Park is always a must-attend event for members of
Pack 28.  FUN is always included and of course a roaring campfire with marshmellows and hot-dogs.

There is excitement in the air with anticipation of the evenings events. The crowd assembles to witness the culmination of the past years hard work by the scouts, volunteer leaders and parents.

This is a memorable time for which the young scouts will always remember.  Advancements being awarded by the den leaders and the youngest members crossing over into full fledged scouting.

There is always some customary speech making by the Cubmaster.  Next comes the presentations to the scouts that earned new ranks, arrow points and activity pins and other awards.  This gets followed up by the Tiger Cubs crossing over the ceremonial bridge into Cub Scouting.   Each receives a scout neckerchief.  Congratulations to all!!!
